Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a Construction Sales Associate to support bid opportunities in the Washington/Baltimore metro area. You'll assist in building customer relationships, gather site data, and help prepare quotes and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or early career experience in construction, industrial services, or B2B sales preferred.
• Strong interest in construction, engineering, access solutions, and technical sales.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings, estimating, or project coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Willingness to visit local job sites and work in active construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Support prospecting efforts for bid opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with contractors, developers and subcontractors.
• Use Salesforce to identify, track, and document opportunities, activities, and pipeline updates.
• Participate in customer meetings and job site visits to gather information for pricing and proposals.
• Assist with site visits to collect measurements and project details to prepare quotes.
• Support the preparation of equipment and material lists, labor estimates, and pricing inputs using SafQuote.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers, Construction Managers, and contracts teams to move opportunities through the sales and contracting process.
• Coordinate with Project Controls to ensure accurate billing and timely capture of change orders.
• Support project kickoff activities to align sales commitments with field execution.
• Assist with prequalification documentation to secure bidder list placements with new customers.
• Identify cross-selling or upsell opportunities across the portfolio of access solutions.
• Provide weekly activity and pipeline updates to Sales Leadership.
