Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Sales Consultant to grow the Western Oklahoma region (Amarillo, TX east side coverage).

You’ll prospect, present solutions, and guide customers from presale to completion, coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors. The role emphasizes a 70/30 split between presale and postsale activities, offers a base salary plus commission, and includes training, a company vehicle, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years sales or account management experience preferred OR 5 years of construction management experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business, construction, or project management preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of maintaining an accurate and organized sales pipeline within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Minimal overnight travel required beyond initial training and onboarding period.
• Ability to develop and maintain an adequate sales funnel and grow market share; be available during construction relative work hours.
• Coordinate all individuals involved in the building project including MBI personnel, hire and manage subcontractors, and navigate permitting requirements.
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Must reside within 30 miles of assigned territory within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project details, communicate with internal teams, and support the build through completion.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and manage the territory with CRM.
• Be available during construction-related work hours and travel as needed during training.
