Mass. Electric Construction Co. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead and audit comprehensive safety programs for transportation and other heavy civil projects across the United States.

You will develop training materials, analyze incident data, coordinate client safety requirements, and liaise with OSHA inspectors. Qualifications

• Degree or relevant experience in occupational health and safety.
• 5 years of safety management in construction projects.
• Must possess BCSP certification: CSP, ASP, CHST, STSC, CIT, or STS.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazard recognition.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Willing to relocate and work across project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental health and safety programs at the project level.
• Analyze incident data and recommend safety features to reduce exposure.
• Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify hazards.
• Monitor the workforce for unsafe behaviors and coach on safe practices.
• Develop safety training materials and track training records.
• Coordinate and present safety training to support client requirements.
• Interface with OSHA officials/inspectors during site visits.
