Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Safety Manager for our Advanced Facilities team. You will lead the field safety program across construction projects, monitor compliance, and help the site teams apply government policies and company safety standards.

You will deliver training, perform safety audits, and drive injury-prevention strategies while partnering with project leadership. A bachelor’s degree in safety/health or construction field and 8+ years of experience are required, with a valid

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field.
8+ years construction safety experience.
Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Manages and implements the field safety program and team for construction projects.
Communicates safety philosophies and values to site teams to ensure understanding and compliance.
Interprets company, owner and government safety policies and recommendations.
Compiles accident statistics and performs trend analysis to address hazards.
Administers drug and alcohol testing per company and regulatory requirements.
Conducts regular safety audits and documents hazards with recommended abatements.
Leads safety training strategies and records training activities.
