Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company seeks a Safety Manager to lead the field safety program across construction projects. You will monitor sites, collect accident data, and interpret government policies to support the company’s safety strategy.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, coordinating investigations, and implementing training plans to improve safety performance while aligning with the Advanced Facilities Group’s objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field (Required).
• 8+ years construction safety experience (Required).
• 0-2 years team lead or team management experience (Required).
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and implements the field safety program and team for construction projects.
• Communicates safety philosophies and values of the Company with safety team members to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Administers and monitors company drug and alcohol testing.
• Implements accident and incident reporting protocols to ensure timely reporting.
• Provides assistance to Safety team members in accident investigations and abatement implementation.
• Leads safety audits and identifies hazards with recommended abatement techniques.
• Develops training strategies and plans to support safety objectives.
