Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Safety Specialist in the Advanced Facilities context to coordinate and implement field safety programs on routine construction projects. You will perform site inspections, safety audits, and orientation to ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety/health field preferred.
• Equivalents in experience may be considered.
• 0–2 years construction or related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements the field safety program for routine construction projects.
• Conducts regular walk-through inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with laws and Company policies.
• Conducts safety audits on assigned projects by identifying, documenting and recommending abatement of hazardous conditions to clients and teams.
• Oversees new hire orientation and compliance with drug and alcohol policy.
• Monitors implementation of prime contractor and subcontractors’ safety programs.
• Attends project meetings to discuss safety-related matters and assist in safety program execution.
