Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Safety Specialist for the Advanced Facilities Group core team. You will coordinate field safety programs, conduct site inspections, and audit safety practices to ensure compliance across projects.

You will support orientations, monitor subcontractor safety performance, and participate in project meetings to advance a safe work environment. Equal opportunity employer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety/health preferred.
• 0–2 years construction or related experience required.
• Ability to perform work accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement field safety program on routine projects.
• Conduct walk-through inspections to ensure policy compliance.
• Audit subcontractors’ safety programs and recommend abatements.
• Oversee new hire orientation and drug/alcohol policy compliance.
• Attend planning and progress meetings to discuss safety matters.
• Support field leadership in safety program implementation and chair safety committee.
