Job summary

TechnoGuard Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager in Sterling, VA to lead safety programs across field operations.

You will develop, implement, and maintain OSHA and VOSH compliant policies, conduct inspections, and drive incident investigations to reduce risk. The role requires strong training delivery, documentation, and collaboration with project teams to foster a proactive safety culture; Virginia construction experience and OSHA 30 are preferred and essential certifications are listed in the job

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in safety/related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of construction safety experience, preferably in commercial/industrial settings.
OSHA 30-hour Construction Certification required.
CSP/CHST or equivalent certifications preferred.
First Aid/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain OSHA/VOSH safety policies and procedures.
Lead safety programs, hazard mitigation, and incident reduction strategies.
Conduct regular jobsite inspections and audits across multiple projects.
Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety incidents with root-cause analyses.
Maintain OSHA 300/300A/301 logs and prepare required reports.
Deliver safety training (OSHA 10/30, fall protection, confined space, PPE).
