Job summary

ECOLAB is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to support our Fab Shop and customer sites, promoting a safe, compliant environment through training, inspections, documentation, and continuous safety improvements.

You will develop OSHA-based training, maintain records, perform site analyses, and lead investigations to prevent injuries. This onsite role in Phoenix requires travel up to 30% to local sites and strong OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and training.
• 5-10 years of safety experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926 standards.
• First Aid, CPR, and OSHA 500 certification.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training on OSHA regulations, company policies, and site safety requirements.
• Maintain safety documentation including accident, inspection, and training records.
• Conduct job site analyses to identify exposure and implement safe procedures.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Lead accident investigations and coordinate with HR on return-to-work programs.
• Plan safety function requirements for fab shop and job sites.
• Implement preventive measures and recommend improvements to unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Fab Shop Manager.
