Insight Global is seeking a Safety Specialist to serve as the on-site safety leader across active electrical construction projects, ensuring OSHA compliance and adherence to company safety standards.

You will partner with project management and field teams to conduct inspections, safety audits, incidents investigations, trainings, and corrective actions, with a focus on building trust and influencing safe behaviors in the field.

Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.
• Experience conducting jobsite safety inspections and audits.
• Ability to train, mentor, and coach field employees on safe work practices.
• Experience performing incident/mishap investigations and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership skills with ability to influence safety culture.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and basic computer skills.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare safety documentation.
• Ability to access heights via ladders and scaffolding.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. regularly.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible/on-call schedules.

Aufgaben

• Conduct daily jobsite inspections to ensure safe working conditions.
• Partner with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to address safety concerns.
• Deliver safety training, orientations, toolbox talks, and mentorship to employees.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Monitor PPE usage and jobsite safety requirements.
• Perform equipment, tool, and scaffold inspections.
• Participate in daily Jobsite Safety Analyses (JSA) and hazard assessments.
• Conduct routine safety audits and compliance reviews.
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Prepare safety reports, hazard analyses, and related documentation.
• Recommend corrective actions and disciplinary measures for safety violations.
• Collaborate with Safety Director and leadership teams on safety initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with field employees, clients, and trade partners.
• Promote and reinforce a proactive safety culture across all projects.
