Job summary

Kokosing Industrial, Inc. is seeking a seasoned safety leader at our Westerville, OH operations. You will lead and monitor the Safety and Health Program, drive compliance, and champion Safety 24/7 across projects.

You'll supervise safety staff, coordinate audits, investigate incidents, and develop mitigation strategies while partnering with operations to reduce injuries and improve safety performance across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety and health or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
• 8+ years of experience with safety and health in the construction industry preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations; capable of coaching audits, inspections, and safety conversations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to supervise safety staff and coordinate with operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the Company Safety and Health Program at assigned location(s).
• Lead and manage efforts to meet regulatory compliance within the Safety and Health Management System.
• Champion the implementation of Safety 24/7 behavioral-based programs.
