Job summary

Clark Group is seeking a Safety Manager to safeguard workers, partners, and the public on our projects. You will lead safety education with project teams to develop safe work plans across all phases and tasks, ensuring adherence to Clark’s Safety and Health Policy and applicable regulations.

You will mentor safety staff, identify exposures, and implement comprehensive safety programs while collaborating with field supervision to mitigate hazards and promote a culture of care on every site.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction safety experience with a safety/health degree or equivalent trade background.
• Ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners.
• Proof of training and experience in managing crane, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and heavy equipment safely.
• Able to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders from a new craft worker to senior executive leader.
• Strong multitasking and deadline-driven prioritization.
• Agile, data-driven approach to achieving objectives while balancing short- and long-term goals.
• Aligns to Clark Standards of Excellence: accountable, ethical, resilient, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Clark safety culture on a project.
• Oversee and ensure the safety of employees, trade partners, and the public.
• Enforce corporate and project safety programs and local, state, and federal standards.
• Mentor safety staff and assist in their development.
• Identify known or potential exposures and recommend corrective action.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement project-specific safety programs.
• Partner with field supervision to include safety hazard mitigation in planning.
• Develop site safety education for jobsite personnel, including subcontractors.
• Drive a safety vision and align the team to a safe workplace for all.
• Facilitate third-party safety reviews including OSHA.
• Teach safety topics within Clark beyond the jobsite.
• Assist with business plan objectives and corporate policies and procedures.
• Recruit top industry talent to join the Clark team and identify outstanding people.
