Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Safety Manager to safeguard workers, trade partners, and the public on live projects. You will lead a culture of care, enforce Safety and Health Policy, and ensure compliance with local and federal standards.

You will partner with project supervisors to develop safe work plans for all phases and tasks. You will mentor safety staff, identify exposures, and drive safety education across Clark projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant construction safety experience with a degree in safety and health or related trade experience.
• Ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners.
• Proven training and experience in managing crane, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and heavy equipment safely.
• Ability to persuade and gain buy-in from a broad range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Clark safety culture on a project.
• Oversee safety of employees, trade partners, and general public.
• Enforce safety programs and federal/state/local standards.
• Mentor safety staff and assist in their development.
• Develop project-specific safety programs and education for jobsite personnel.
