Clark Construction Group is seeking a Safety Manager to lead on-site safety across major projects in the United States. You will drive a culture of care, enforce health and safety policies, and partner with project supervisors to develop safe work plans for all activities.

You will mentor safety staff, identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and coordinate with field teams to embed safety in planning and execution. OSHA standards and corporate safety initiatives shape your daily work.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction safety experience with an undergraduate degree in safety and health or related trade experience.
• Ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners.
• Proof of training and experience in cranes, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and heavy equipment safety.
• Ability to communicate persuasively with a broad range of stakeholders from craft workers to senior executives.
• Strength in managing multiple competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Agile, data-driven approach to achieving objectives while balancing short- and long-term goals.
• Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: self-motivated, results-oriented, adaptable, team player, ethical, innovative, resilient, builds relationships and leads.
• Preferred qualifications include OSHA 30 Hour, CHST or CSP, 1st Aid/CPR, EM 385.

Responsabilités

• Drive the Clark safety culture on a project.
• Oversee safety of employees, trade partners, and the public.
• Enforce safety programs and standards at all levels.
• Mentor safety staff and aid in their development.
• Identify exposures and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop project-wide safety programs and education.
• Collaborate with field supervision to embed safety in planning.
• Lead safety education for jobsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Coordinate third-party safety reviews, including OSHA.
• Deliver safety trainings beyond the job site.
• Support business plans and corporate safety initiatives.
• Build relationships with industry professionals to win work.
• Participate in recruiting top safety talent.
• Identify, hire, and retain outstanding people.
• Aim to exceed stakeholders’ safety expectations.
