Job summary

U.S. Engineering seeks a Safety Coordinator to help maintain safe work environments across our construction sites. You will implement corporate safety, health and environmental programs under the Regional Safety Director.

You will coordinate site safety orientations, conduct trainings (fall protection, forklift, lockout, confined space), inspect work areas, investigate incidents, document findings, and ensure PPE and safety supplies are ready on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety management or related field preferred.
• Up to 5 years of experience in mechanical construction industry preferred.
• Strong ability to establish professional relationships with team members, vendors and contractors.
• Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and PPE requirements; proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site safety orientations according to corporate programs.
• Conduct safety trainings (fall protection, forklift, lockout, confined space).
• Perform safety inspections, air sampling, incident investigations, and reporting.
• Document accidents and unsafe conditions; compile reports per regulations.
• Ensure PPE and safety supplies are available on site.
• Support safety and insurance inspections during site tours.
