Wharton-Smith, Inc., a Southeast general contractor, is seeking a Safety Manager in the Palm Beach Gardens region to uphold safety standards on our construction sites. You will assist with inspections, incident reporting, and the implementation of the project safety plan.

This role requires OSHA knowledge, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. You will collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to promote safe work practices and maintain compliance records.

Qualificações

• Basic knowledge of OSHA construction safety standards.
• OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (OSHA 30 a plus).
• Ability to work in a construction jobsite environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High level of attention to detail and accountability.
• Ability to observe, identify, and document safety hazards.
• Willingness to learn and support safety programs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with jobsite safety inspections and hazard identification.
• Support and implement project safety plan and policies.
• Monitor jobsite PPE use and safe work practices.
• Document incidents, near-misses, and safety observations.
• Assist with safety meetings and training initiatives.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance docs.
• Coordinate with project leadership and subcontractors on safety.
• Contribute to site-specific safety plan reviews.
