Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Commercial Division in the Palm Beach Gardens, FL area.

The role focuses on ensuring safety, owner satisfaction, cost control, schedule adherence, and quality across projects from pre-construction to completion. You will build client relationships, manage subcontractors, develop schedules and budgets, coordinate with preconstruction, and oversee procurement, change orders, and project close-out.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant degree.
• Five plus years of experience in engineering, construction, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Build strong relationships with client/owner, architect, and engineer to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain a positive image of the company with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule and cost accounting; monitor budgets and costs.
• Manage change orders, subcontractor payments, and vendor invoices; ensure timely project delivery.
• Visit jobsites regularly to review progress, safety, quality, and coordination with stakeholders.
• Support permitting, testing, and inspection requirements and ensure contract compliance.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
