Job summary

U.S. Engineering Construction is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support corporate safety health and environmental programs on various job sites. You will certify that programs are implemented under the supervision of the Regional Safety Director and help drive a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include conducting safety orientations, trainings, inspections, and incident investigations while maintaining vital safety records and ensuring PPE availability across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management or related area preferred.
• Up to 5 years of experience in mechanical construction industry preferred.
• Excellent ability to establish and foster professional relationships with team members, vendors, contractors, etc.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site-specific safety orientation programs.
• Conduct safety trainings (fall protection, forklift, lockout, confined space, etc.).
• Perform safety inspections, air sampling, incident investigations, and reporting.
• Maintain documentation and reports per regulations and programs.
• Ensure availability of safety supplies and PPE at sites.
• Support safety, health and insurance inspections during site tours.
