Job summary

CEC is seeking a Safety Coordinator responsible for implementing safety programs and coaching crews across project sites. The role emphasizes field walks, regulatory compliance, audits, and corrective actions to foster a safety culture.

You will mentor employees, perform incident investigations, and ensure compliance with NFPA/NESC/ANSI standards while maintaining a safe work environment on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety preferred.
• 1–3 years construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 Construction required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.
• CPR/FA certification desirable.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coach Foremen in completing ORM boards and Job Hazard Analyses; document ORM boards daily.
• Work day and/or night shifts, overtime, and weekends as schedule requires.
• Submit Site Safety Audit reports daily with findings, hazards, corrective actions, and photos.
• Interact with field personnel and site supervision to address safety observations and resolutions.
• Assist with site-specific safety orientations for new employees.
