The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Safety and Health, 5+ years of construction safety experience, CHST certification, and ability to work nights and weekends as needed. Salary ranges from $88,000 to $120,000 annually, with negotiable terms.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations and other safety policies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a high production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategies to reduce injuries and incidents.
• Provide training on safety and health requirements to personnel.
• Support pre-job safety planning and emergency response development.
• Lead safety meetings and training programs.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections and corrective actions.
• Investigate injuries and incidents and document findings.
• Disseminate safety updates and regulatory changes to the team.
• Coordinate safety programs with subcontractors and third parties.
• Serve as a contact for OSHA and other agencies when needed.
