Job summary

BOND is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the safety program on assigned construction projects. You will oversee, plan, and ensure safety compliance, developing service plans and conducting inspections to keep site teams safe and aligned with regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with management to plan safe work and mentor staff, ensuring timely, accurate safety deliverables. The role emphasizes strong communication and hands-on safety leadership across teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Occupational Safety or related discipline or equivalent construction experience.
• Proven leadership and relationship-building abilities within teams.
• Knowledge of Owner contracts, drawings, subcontractor agreements, scope and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the BOND Safety Plan at a project level.
• Ensure that health and safety plans are implemented and track the project’s safety compliance.
• Liaise with external agents and inspectors related to safety and health.
• Collaborate with Project management on safe planning of the work while keeping them informed.
• Manage all subcontractor safety related issues along with Project Management.
• Meet and enforce all safety rules and regulations.
• Provide input for pre-task planning and scheduling.
• Mentor subordinates and promote teamwork reflecting BOND’s values.
• Produce regular safety inspections within Highwire.
• Conduct accident investigations and follow up with Safety Support Services.
