Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Safety Engineer to support the safety manager and project team on a construction project. You will help implement safety policies, monitor activities, and address unsafe conditions in field and office settings.

Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, assisting with accident investigations, and upholding the company safety program across location sites. Strong communication and a 4-year degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred; safety-focused degree suggested.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Proficient with MS Office; Excel templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support safety manager and project team on construction safety.
• Plan, monitor activities and correct unsafe acts or conditions.
• Assist in OSHA inspections and incident investigations.
• Participate in safety audits and hazard analyses.
• Learn construction processes and team roles.
