Mortenson Construction is seeking a Safety Engineer II to implement the Zero Injury Safety program at a project site, ensuring a safe environment for team members, subcontractors, and visitors. The role requires interaction with staff at all levels and a proactive approach to safety leadership.

Responsibilities include administering safety programs at worksites, conducting orientations, audits, and incident analyses, and coordinating OSHA reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, or related field.
• OR High school diploma with STS/CHST, OSHA 30 Hour, and 7 years of construction safety leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer safety programs at each worksite.
• Assist PM in developing site-specific safety plans and activities.
• Provide safety orientation and training at project level.
• Document and track safety violations and hazards.
• Conduct work area safety audits and data analysis.
• Coordinate OSHA reporting and postings.
