Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Construction Safety Engineer for the F21 FAB project in Phoenix, AZ. You will support development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs to ensure OSHA and local regulations compliance on construction sites.

You will lead safety assessments, review documentation, and collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to foster a culture of safety. The role emphasizes hazard identification, incident investigations, and ongoing safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction, Safety, or Engineering preferred.
• 1–3 years of Construction Health and Safety experience required.
• Working knowledge of federal and state safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, communicating, and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to field teams and subcontractors for safety compliance.
• Review Site-Specific Safety Programs and JHAs before mobilization.
• Conduct site evaluations, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in root cause analyses and preventive measures.
• Monitor subcontractor safety training documentation.
• Attend and review Toolbox Talks for safety awareness.
• Perform site audits and inspections to identify hazards.
