Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Construction Safety Engineer to support the F21 FAB project in Phoenix, AZ. You will develop and maintain safety programs, ensure OSHA compliance, and collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to promote a safe work environment.

The role requires 1–3 years in Construction Health and Safety, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication. On-site work with standard hours and a focus on safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction, Safety, or Engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state safety and health regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, communicating, and enforcing corporate safety policies and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to field teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate subcontractor Pre-Construction Safety Planning meetings.
• Review Site-Specific Safety Programs and Job Hazard Analyses prior to mobilization.
• Conduct routine site evaluations, identify safety deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support incident investigations using root cause analysis and develop preventive measures.
• Monitor subcontractor safety training documentation for compliance.
• Review subcontractor Toolbox Talks to ensure safety awareness and proper documentation.
• Perform regular site audits and inspections to proactively identify hazards.
