Job summary

TSMC Arizona seeks a Hookup Senior Safety Engineer for the F21 FAB project in Phoenix. You will oversee safety programs in clean room environments, drive risk reduction and compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed safety into design, layout and workflows.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s in OH&S or related field, 3+ years in semiconductor safety, OSHA expertise, and strong leadership. Travel may be required for international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in construction or semiconductor safety management.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazard analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Conduct risk assessments, JSAs, and method statements for equipment layouts.
• Ensure contractor/subcontractor adherence to safety regs and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and operations to integrate safety into design and workflows.
• Deliver safety training sessions and track safety KPIs.
