Job summary

LeoForce in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Director of Construction Safety to lead our safety culture across field operations, projects, and support functions. This senior role requires guiding safety standards, partnering with operations leaders, and protecting employees, clients, and project outcomes.

You will bring 5+ years in construction safety, strong OSHA knowledge, proven incident investigations, and the ability to influence crews across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience leading safety initiatives in field-based or project-driven environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and general construction safety practices.
• Proven ability to conduct investigations, audits, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Ability to influence crews, supervisors, and managers across multiple sites.
• Certifications such as CSP, CHST, OHST, or similar are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, occupational health, construction management, or related field a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s safety strategy and day-to-day safety program across construction and field operations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations, and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with operations and project leaders to reduce risk and improve compliance.
• Track safety metrics, identify trends, and report findings to leadership.
• Ensure adherence to applicable safety regulations and company standards.
• Support onboarding, toolbox talks, and ongoing employee safety education.
• Promote a proactive safety culture that balances accountability, productivity, and care for people.
