Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Safety Director (Spanish Speaking) in Phoenix, AZ, to lead and strengthen our safety culture across field operations and projects. This senior role requires 5+ years of construction safety experience and the ability to influence teams at all levels to protect employees and outcomes.

The position includes a competitive base salary of $120,000 to $140,000, annual bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and a company vehicle, with on-site responsibilities across our Phoenix

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience leading safety initiatives in field-based or project-driven environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and general construction safety practices.
• Proven ability to conduct investigations, audits, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Ability to influence crews, supervisors, and managers across multiple sites.
• Certifications such as CSP, CHST, OHST, or similar are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, occupational health, construction management, or related field a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s safety strategy and day-to-day safety program across construction and field operations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations, and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with operations and project leaders to reduce risk and improve compliance.
• Track safety metrics, identify trends, and report findings to leadership.
• Ensure adherence to applicable safety regulations and company standards.
• Support onboarding, toolbox talks, and ongoing employee safety education.
• Promote a proactive safety culture that balances accountability, productivity, and care for people.
