Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Director of Safety for construction in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead safety across field operations, projects and support teams, partnering with operations managers to establish practical, compliant standards and safeguard our employees.

Requirements include 5+ years in construction safety leadership, OSHA knowledge (OSHA 500/510 preferred), CSP/CHST/OHST a plus, and a Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field. Spanish speaking is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction safety leadership at director level or above.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
• Spanish speaking highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shape and oversee safety strategy for construction and field crews.
• Develop, roll out and evaluate safety policies and training.
• Perform site inspections, audits, and investigations with corrective actions.
• Monitor safety metrics and present findings to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards.
• Support onboarding and toolbox talks to promote safety education.
