Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a motivated Occupational Health & Safety program participant to support the Safety Manager in enforcing procedures on construction sites and facilities. This role provides exposure to OSHA standards, safety training, and the coordination of division safety activities within our HVAC, plumbing and fire protection projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all project-site tasks are performed safely according to company policies and OSHA standards.
• Help implement the Corporate Safety Award Program.
• Distribute and track certification cards for industrial equipment training.
• Report and manage company vehicle claims.
• Assist in reporting workers' compensation claims.
• Update and maintain MSDS manuals.
• Assemble and distribute safety manuals.
• Coordinate safety tailgate meetings and maintain signed forms.
