Job summary

Dean Dorton in North Carolina seeks a high-impact Industry Growth Executive with deep construction and real estate experience to lead strategic market expansion in the Triangle and across the state.

The role focuses on revenue origination, executive relationship development, and multi-service client growth across accounting, tax, advisory, technology, cybersecurity, risk, transaction and operational consulting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in construction, commercial real estate, or related sectors.
• Experience in senior commercial leadership roles (CFO/COO/CEO or equivalent).
• Strong Triangle market relationships and regional business network.
• Proven ability to originate revenue opportunities and drive growth.
• Deep understanding of industry challenges and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Triangle area growth strategy focused on mid-market construction and real estate businesses.
• Build relationships with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, private equity groups, lenders and attorneys.
• Identify and originate new business opportunities across service lines.
• Represent the firm at industry events and strengthen brand recognition.
