Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to oversee quality control on large or multi‑phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE/NAVFAC requirements. Write the project QC plan and lead three‑phase control meetings with owners and inspectors.

You will supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians, coordinate laboratory testing and material certifications, and manage NCRs with corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection with supervising experience.
• USACE CQM-C certificate and NICET Level III or ICC Special Inspector certification.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT or industrial owner quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run NCR and corrective-action processes and present in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications.
