Guy F. Atkinson Construction, LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector to support heavy civil projects in Renton. You will review contract documents, owner requirements, and ensure compliance with building codes, coordinating with owners, designers, and contractors to uphold quality and schedule.

You will lead the Three Phases of Control, manage submittals and punch lists, and document field activities. A technical degree and 3+ years of inspection experience are preferred, with safety and

Competenze

• Three (3) years’ relevant work experience, plus a technical or Associate’s degree or five (5) years of relevant inspection experience.
• Preference to ICC, ACI, Nuclear Gauge, WAQTC, and/or CWI certifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.

Mansioni

• Partner with the project team to understand, plan, and implement the contract drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with the owner, design team, and contractors to ensure quality and timeliness of project construction and completion.
• Implement and manage the “Three Phases of Control” Quality Control Plan.
• Oversee submittal review and approval.
• Schedule and conduct quality control meetings.
• Inspect, verify materials, and document all construction activities for compliance to the contract.
• Manage inspections process.
• Coordinate third party testing agents and interface with the Owner’s representatives as required.
• Close out project with punch list and training deliverables.
