Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Construction Quality Inspector to support our growing project needs approximately 55 miles from Idaho Falls, ID. This role ensures construction activities meet contract requirements, codes, and quality standards in a field setting.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of construction or industrial experience, can read plans and drawings, and communicates effectively with subcontractors and project teams. U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction or industrial experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with subcontractors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oversight of inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Evaluate subcontractor workmanship, methods, and material quality.
• Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, procedures, reports, and project correspondence.
• Provide oversight of quality-impacting activities and maintain accurate daily quality reports.
• Identify deviations, communicate nonconformances, and recommend corrective actions to subcontractors.
• Collaborate with on-site engineers and quality representatives to resolve issues.
• Review materials testing, grades, dimensions, and elevation reports.
• Approve contractor and subcontractor submittals.
• Support data collection, documentation, and field/laboratory testing programs.
