Job summary

Grunley Construction is seeking a Quality Control Manager in Chambersburg, PA to assure materials and workmanship meet contract requirements. The role reports to the Vice President & General Manager and coordinates with the onsite Superintendent, Project Manager, and Project Executive as appropriate.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 5+ years of construction experience, or an associate’s degree with 10+ years. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 5+ years of construction experience, or an associate’s degree with 10+ years of construction experience.
• Working knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures and practices.
• U.S. Citizenship required and current USACE CQM Management Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Develop Quality Control Plan for submission.
• Review and approve work plans and product submissions.
• Plan for and conduct three–phase inspection program with preparatory, initial, follow-up and final inspections.
• Maintain site-specific test log and ensure materials meet contract requirements.
• Prepare and distribute contemporaneous daily reports.
• Coordinate safety documentation and incident photography with Safety Department.
