Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking a Construction QA/QC Manager to lead quality programs across projects and divisions from our St Thomas, USVI office. You will ensure compliance with specifications, plans, and governmental requirements from project start to closeout, coordinating with subcontractors and field teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years in construction with solid knowledge of means and methods, plus proficiency in construction software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Quality Management or demonstrated equivalent field.
• 5 plus years of experience in related construction fields.
• Solid understanding of means and methods of construction

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Corporate Quality Management Program across all areas of the business and ensure compliance.
• Expand and Develop standard operating procedures and processes to achieve the highest levels of quality associated with delivering a completed construction project.
• Assist with the creation of project specific Quality Management Plans and verify implementation of plan for each project.
• Assist with the development of Quality metrics that empower teams to review information on quality execution; work cross-functionally with operations to address any trends.
• Manage a team of Quality Managers and/or professionals to execute the administrative tasks related to reporting site evaluations, quality reporting requirements, and site specific quality planning.
