Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking a QA/QC Manager in Estero, FL to lead the implementation and management of the quality control program across projects. You will ensure work complies with specifications, plans, and regulations from start to closeout.

You will develop project-specific Quality Plans and metrics, supervise quality staff, and coordinate with operations to address trends. Strong knowledge of construction standards and regulatory requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field or equivalent.
• 5+ years in construction quality control/QA roles.
• Solid understanding of means and methods of construction.
• Proficient with software used in construction quality control.
• Working knowledge of national and state codes and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Quality Management Program across the business and ensure compliance.
• Develop and update project Quality Management Plans and verify implementation.
• Develop quality metrics and collaborate with operations to address trends.
• Lead a team of quality professionals to handle reporting, site evaluations and quality planning.
• Conduct random site evaluations and ensure deficiencies are corrected.
• Share best practices across project teams and quality personnel.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local quality regulations including ADA, NFPA, UL, ASTM and FBC.
