Job summary

Workspire partners with a construction services organization to recruit a QA/QC Manager in the Atlanta area to lead quality assurance and quality control across project execution.

This role translates contract requirements, drawings, and specifications into practical quality plans and field verification, working closely with project teams, field supervision, subcontractors, and inspectors to identify issues early and support complete turnover.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction QA/QC programs and teams.
• Ability to translate contract drawings and specs into inspection criteria.
• Develop quality plans, coordinate inspections, and maintain organized records.
• Understand construction methods and multi-trade coordination.
• Document nonconforming work and drive corrective actions.
• Communicate quality concerns clearly with field and project teams.
• Proficient with digital inspection and document control tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans, inspection/test plans, checklists, and documentation requirements.
• Review contract documents, drawings, specs, and submittals to identify acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate reviews and field inspections with project teams, trades, testing agencies, and clients.
• Verify materials and workmanship against requirements; document findings and follow-up.
• Maintain inspection records and nonconformance reports for traceability.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions; verify closures.
• Identify recurring deficiencies and recommend changes to work practices.
• Coordinate quality hold points and testing with schedule and field plan.
• Support punch-list management and turnover with complete quality records.
