About the Role

We are partnering with a construction services organization seeking a QA/QC Manager in the Atlanta area to lead quality assurance and quality control activities throughout project execution.

This role will translate contract requirements, drawings, and specifications into practical quality plans and field verification. The QA/QC Manager will work closely with project teams, field supervision, subcontractors, and inspectors to identify issues early, document compliance, and support complete project turnover.

The ideal candidate combines construction knowledge with a disciplined approach to inspection and documentation. They can communicate expectations clearly, address nonconforming work constructively, and help teams prevent repeat issues.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement project quality plans, inspection and test plans, checklists, and documentation requirements.
• Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and approved submittals to identify acceptance criteria and inspection requirements.
• Coordinate preparatory reviews and field inspections with project teams, trade partners, testing agencies, and client representatives.
• Verify materials, installation practices, and completed work against project requirements, documenting findings and required follow-up.
• Maintain records of inspections, test results, deficiencies, and nonconformance reports so quality status is clear and traceable.
• Work with responsible teams to investigate quality issues, establish corrective actions, and verify that corrections are completed.
• Identify recurring deficiencies and recommend changes to work practices, training, or quality controls.
• Coordinate quality-related hold points and testing activities with the construction schedule and field work plan.
• Support punch-list management and turnover by assembling complete quality records and confirming closure of outstanding items.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in construction quality assurance, quality control, inspection, or a related field leadership role.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, submittals, and project requirements and translate them into inspection criteria.
• Experience developing quality plans, coordinating inspections and testing, and maintaining organized quality records.
• Practical understanding of construction methods, installation sequencing, and coordination across trades.
• Experience documenting nonconforming work, supporting root-cause reviews, and verifying corrective actions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate quality concerns clearly with field and project teams.
• Comfort using digital inspection, document control, and construction project management tools.
