Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Scheduler to join our Contract Solutions team in Southern California, focusing on construction project and program-level scheduling across public buildings, infrastructure, water/wastewater, and commercial projects.

You will build detailed schedules, manage critical path updates, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with project managers, clients and consultants, using Primavera P6 and PMI/PSP credentials. This role is based in Southern California with limited travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in project scheduling.
• Construction project and program level scheduling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and interest in training and mentoring junior level staff.
• Hands-on experience in public buildings, infrastructure, water/wastewater and/or commercial construction projects preferred.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedule.
• Assist in development of functional schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities.
• Build detailed engineering, construction, and validation logic-driven/resource loaded schedules; analyze critical path updates; communicate schedule status to PM, client, consultants and others.
• Maintain project schedules and alert project team to potential problem areas.
• Assist/Lead schedule and budget review meetings at construction site or client facilities.
• Collect real-time schedule and performance data including installed quantities, expended labor hours, and other progress measurements for direct hire and subcontracted work.
• Limited travel.
