Job summary

HPM is seeking a Project Manager to lead the entire construction process from start to finish in Huntsville. Responsibilities include budgeting, contract negotiations, vendor coordination, and client expectation management. Travel up to 30% may be required.

The role involves supervising assistants, managing costs, preparing change orders, and serving as the owner's representative on contracts. A strong background in building science or construction management and proficiency with scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 4–10 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management of new/construction or renovation projects.
• Detailed knowledge of budgeting, accounting, and procurement to manage a construction project.
• Proficient in MS Office and scheduling software (Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO) and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project managers and train field staff.
• Maintain the Job Cost Report, ledgers, and budget.
• Develop project administration, correspondence, and documentation.
• Provide planning, design, construction, and technical support per standards.
