Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group is seeking a Project Manager (Construction) to lead new store openings, overseeing bidding, construction, and closeout in assigned markets. You will coordinate architecture, engineering, permitting, and site selection to deliver stores on time and within budget.

This role requires five years of construction PM experience, a Bachelor's in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, and willingness to relocate to supported regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum five years of construction project management experience, preferably in retail/hospitality.
• Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
• Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual store opening plan and deliver quality stores on time and cost-effectively.
• Oversee construction quality management (CQM) to Panda standards and best practices.
• Support site research including due diligence, feasibility studies, floor and site plans.
• Ensure code, AHJ, landlord, and Panda requirements are met and approvals obtained.
• Manage bidding, awarding, and contract issuance; source qualified GCs.
• Monitor project schedules, costs, and regulatory approvals; ensure safety compliance.
• Regularly report progress to stakeholders and ensure turnover to Operations as scheduled.
