Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (Construction) to drive new store openings, manage multi-site construction projects, and coordinate with architecture, engineering, and operations.

The role focuses on staying on schedule and within budget while upholding Panda standards. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of construction PM experience, preferably in retail/hospitality, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preference major in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum five years of construction project management experience, preferably in retail/hospitality.
• Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual store opening plan and deliver quality stores on time and within budget.
• Oversee construction quality management to Panda standards and safety codes.
• Support site selection, due diligence, feasibility studies, floor plans, and site plans.
• Ensure compliance with codes, AHJ, landlords, and Panda standards; manage approval processes.
• Oversee bidding, award, and contracts; source qualified General Contractors.
• Monitor project schedule, regulatory approvals, and costs; ensure accurate reporting to stakeholders.
• Coordinate handover to Operations on schedule and communicate scope/schedule/cost changes.
