Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (Construction) to lead new store construction from bidding through closeout. The role requires coordinating architecture and engineering inputs, permits, and site selection to develop Panda restaurants on schedule and within budget.

Located in the U.S. with hybrid work options, it demands strong leadership, cost control, and adherence to Panda standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction project management experience, preferably in retail/hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual store opening plan and deliver quality stores on time and within cost.
• Manage construction quality management to align with Panda standards and best practices.
• Oversee general contractors and subcontractors.
• Assist in store site research including due diligence, feasibility studies, floor plans, and site plans.
• Ensure store construction meets codes, AHJ, landlord requirements, and Panda standards.
• Oversee bidding, awarding, and contracts; source qualified GC pool.
• Monitor project schedule, costs, and regulatory approvals; ensure safety standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management
