Job summary

Ajax Building Company is seeking a driven Construction Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Project Manager reports to and is directly accountable to the Project Executive.

Qualifications

Advanced interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Hire, lead, develop, and manage project personnel.
Lead project execution with field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Establish and implement project operating procedures for consistency and efficiency.
Oversee budgets and schedules with proactive risk management.
Review project performance reports to manage cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
Manage procurement and approve material purchases and equipment rentals.
Represent the company in communications with owners, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
Oversee contract administration and costs associated with equipment and vendors.
Audit project activities from contract execution through closeout and warranty.
Build relationships with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and partners.
Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement through initiatives.
