Job summary

KRM Construction LLC, a Dixon Group affiliate, seeks a Project Manager in Chestertown, MD to oversee all phases of building projects. You will manage schedules, budgets, procurement, and staffing, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and stakeholder communication. The position requires strong leadership, PM skills, and experience managing multi-million-dollar commercial projects; military veterans

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering preferred; or five+ years of experience managing commercial projects over $5,000,000.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing and prioritizing tasks.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction schematics.
• Knowledge of permits and approval processes; budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all phases of construction projects, from initiation to closeout.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets and resource allocations for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to monitor progress and ensure specs.
• Oversee procurement, bid evaluations and vendor selection; manage change orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local building codes; monitor site progress.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders; lead project team.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team and foster collaboration.
