Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies is seeking a motivated Project Manager Intern to join our Bellevue summer program. You will support senior PMs on estimating, scheduling, design meetings, and buyout tasks, gaining hands-on exposure to real-world construction management.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Previous internship or co-op construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Estimating – describe project proposals and assign dollar values to the projects.
• Scheduling – create a working timeline for subcontractors to complete the project on time.
• Design meetings – attend design meetings to understand proposals from engineers and architects.
• Buyout – issue bid instructions, schedule and drawings; receive and evaluate proposals; award subcontracts.
• Permitting – fill out permit forms and submit with drawings and fees for approval.
• Shop drawing/submittal review – review submissions and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Billing – manage subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and pay applications.
• Job site visits – accompany PM to ensure the project runs smoothly.
