Job summary

ARCO Companies is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager Intern to join our team of experts in Missouri. You will assist with estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, permitting, shop drawing review, billing, and on-site visits while gaining real-world project leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Previous internship or co-op construction experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with estimating by describing proposals and assigning dollar values
• Create working timelines for subcontractors to complete projects on time
• Attend design meetings with owner, structural engineers and architects
• Send bid instructions, schedules and drawings to subcontractors and evaluate proposals
• Fill out permit forms and submit them to city/county/fire for approval
• Review shop drawings and submittals with PM and coordinate material orders
• Assist with subcontracts, change orders, pay requests and pay applications
• Visit job sites with PM to ensure projects run smoothly
