ARCO National Construction Company in Bellevue, WA is seeking a motivated Project Manager Intern for the summer. You will support estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, permitting, shop drawing reviews, billing, and site visits under the guidance of senior PMs.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Previous Internship or Co-op construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with estimating project proposals and dollar values.
• Create a working timeline for subcontractors/trades to complete the project on time.
• Attend design meetings with owner and team to understand proposals from engineers/architects.
• Send bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subcontractors; evaluate proposals and award subcontracts.
• Fill out permit forms, submit with drawings/fees, and obtain approvals.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; communicate material orders with subcontractors.
• Assist with subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and pay applications.
• Visit job sites with PM to ensure project runs smoothly.
