Job summary

ARCO is seeking a Project Manager Intern to support estimating, scheduling, and design coordination on summer projects. You will assist with bid proposals, permitting, submittals, and on-site reviews under supervision.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, competitive pay, housing stipend, and a path to full-time opportunities. Ideal candidates are pursuing a civil/mechanical/architectural or construction management degree with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Previous Internship or Co-op construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with estimating and scheduling tasks.
• Attend design meetings with owner and team.
• Send bid instructions and evaluate subcontractor proposals.
• Assist with permitting, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Support billing processes including subcontracts and change orders.
• Visit job sites to monitor progress.
